Best Time to Visit Indiana
The summer months of July and August bring the warmest temperatures, so these months are the best time to visit for water-based activities, such as going to the beach at Indiana Dunes.
The fall months of September and October bring comfortable temperatures and sunny skies during the day with crisp evenings. These months are great for outdoor activities other than swimming, harvest festivals, and fall foliage.
The spring months of May and June offer pleasant temperatures with blooming flowers. Visit during late May to catch the Indy 500, which takes place annually on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
