Best Time to Visit Wisconsin

Wisconsin is a Midwestern state that experiences all four seasons. Expect warm, sunny summers and cold, snowy winters.

The best time to visit Wisconsin is in the summer, from June and into September. You will have the best, most pleasant temperatures for outdoor sightseeing, which is great if you are planning on touring Wisconsin’s cities or state parks. This is also the best time of year to be on the water.

During the spring (April-May) and fall (mid-September-October) seasons you have to be more selective with what you plan to do in Wisconsin. The cooler temperatures this time of year are not ideal for water-based activities, but visiting Wisconsin cities would be fine.
