Best Time to Visit Michigan

The best time to visit Michigan is in the summer, from June and into September. You will have the warmest temperatures for outdoor activities, which is great if you are planning on touring Michigan’s cities or shorelines. This is also the best time of year to be on the water.

For a mix of pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds, consider visiting in the months of May, late September, and into October. Temperatures will likely be too cold for watersports, but you should still have good weather for other outdoor activities.
